Bio
Susan B. Vroman is professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Georgetown University. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.
At Georgetown, she teaches courses in labor economics, microeconomic theory, and statistics. She has been a Visiting Professor at the Vrije University of Amsterdam, University of British Columbia, Stockholm University, Uppsala University, and Osaka University.
Her current research focuses on equilibrium theories of unemployment and wage dispersion and on women's labor market behavior. She has also published papers on the economics of trade unions.
