Stephen Evans is the Chairman, and a Professor, of the Department of Surgery. He is also the Director of the Surgical Residency Program and the Medical Director of the Operating Room at the Georgetown University Medical Center. His specialities are in patient care (for gastric esophageal reflux disease, hepatic/biliary surgery, colon/rectal surgery, endocrine surgery, laparoscopic choleccystectomy, oncology surgery, thyroid disease, and gastric surgery), melanoma surgery and sarcoma surgery.
