R. Kirk Sherr is the President of Clearview Strategy Group, an international energy development advisory firm based in Washington, D.C. He has 30 years of international experience in key emerging and frontier energy markets worldwide. He has held senior executive positions and founded energy service companies, energy distribution companies and large midstream and downstream energy businesses in a number of countries in Latin America and the Middle East. He has in-depth market experience in diverse countries including Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Iraq. He has previously been the President of MetroGas (Mexico City) and Compania Mexicana de Gas (Monterrey). Prior to founding Clearview in 2012, Mr. Sherr was a principal at the Scowcroft Group, following many years developing and operating natural gas power, pipeline and distribution companies in Latin America. He began his career as a diplomat after receiving his AB in economics, government and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. He is a member of the Colorado Bar and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
