Professor Heino specializes in the implementation and use of communication technologies, such as intranets and email, in organizations. She is also interested in the negotiation of privacy in communication technologies across organizational and national boundaries. She teaches courses in management communication, intercultural communication and public speaking for both MBAs and undergraduates. Professor Heino works with executives on persuasion, effective communication, public speaking, conflict management, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
