Bio

Professor Miller conducts research in the fields of industrial organization and antitrust economics, with a focus on modeling various aspects of imperfectly competitive markets. His research has been published in journals such as American Economic Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, and Journal of Finance. He teaches MBA courses in microeconomics, competitive strategy and pricing analysis.

Prior to joining the Georgetown McDonough faculty, Professor Miller was an economist at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. There he worked on merger and civil non-merger antitrust investigations, including the merger investigations of AT&T/T-Mobile, Bazaarvoice/Power Reviews, Ticketmaster/Live Nation, and Delta/Northwest.
