Dennis McNamara, SJ looks to space and scale in the emerging political economy of the East Asian Community. The interplay of market, geography
and identity in regional fora such as APEC or ASEAN have been the focus of recent papers. Scale highlights his interest in the role of small and
medium-size enterprise in regional production chains. Now a Fulbright scholar in Japan, he is completing a manuscript tentatively titled,
/Japan’s Next Asian Challenge – From Networks to Knowledge/. He has designed and continues to chair the Georgetown Alliance Project, a conference and publishing effort tracking the evolution of the U.S – Korea Alliance.
