Bio
Professor Comer has been on the faculty of the McDonough School of Business since 2001 and teaches Business Financial Management at the undergraduate level. He has been a member of the PhD Project Finance Doctoral Student Association since its inception and served as a faculty advisor for the organization. Previously, Professor Comer taught in the analyst training program for JP Morgan and currently serves as the finance instructor for the training program of First Manhattan Consulting Group.
Professor Comer's current and past nonacademic work experience include the following: 1) chief academic officer/consultant for MutualDecision.com, 2) financial analyst for the finance and budget division of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in NYC, and 3) intern with the domestic research and foreign research groups of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
In 2006, Professor Comer was awarded the Robert E. McDonough School of Business Joseph LeMoine Award for Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching Excellence.
