Martin Evans is Professor of Economics in Georgetown’s Department of Economics and a Research Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. In the past he has held faculty positions in the McDonough School of Business, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, New York University's Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and the University of Michigan. Between 5/2011 and 8/2012 he was on leave from Georgetown to take the position of Advisor to the Chief Economist at the I.M.F.
