Bridging the Chasm: Military Intervention and Conflict Resolution
2004-2006 During the 20th Century, military forces intervened in on-going interstate and instrastate conflicts on more than 60 occasions. This research examines the characteristics of those interventions and seeks to identify patterns and correlations between actions and outcomes, in terms of conflict resolution, in order to provide policy makers with a beret understanding of the nature and conduct of military intervention. |
