Integration of ER-related signaling in breast cancer (U54-CA149147)
2010-2015 This is as a multi-institutional (Georgetown University, Virginia Tech, and Fox Chase Cancer Center) P01-style program grant that supports, through the NCI Integrative Cancer Biology Program, establishment of a Center for Cancer Systems Biology at Georgetown University Medical Center/Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The research team includes cellular and molecular biologists, computer scientists, mathematicians, medical oncologists and biostatisticians. The primary goal of this program is to apply the tools of systems biology to build computational and mathematical models of estrogen receptor-mediated signaling in the context of understanding responsiveness to endocrine therapies for breast cancer. |
