• This report constitutes the fifth major such undertaking in the past 25 years (Czinkota, 1986; Czinkota & Ronkainen, 1992, 1997, 2005). In comparing the predictive ability of the studies conducted in 1986, 1992, 1997 and 2005, an average accuracy level of 79 percent has been achieved. In many cases, however, the inaccuracies have been more so on the expected rate and speed of a particular change rather than on missing the change factor altogether..
