Bio

Bill Danoff (I ’68) Georgetown University B.S. Chinese

While still a student at Georgetown, Bill began his songwriting and performing career.
In 1969 he became a member of ASCAP and has received many ASCAP awards including "one of the top ten most-performed country songs of the 20th century" for "Take Me Home, Country Roads".

His song "Afternoon Delight" led to five Grammy nominations and two Grammy awards for him and his group Starland Vocal Band.

He continues to write, record and perform.
