She was Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs in the Government Relations office of General Motors Co. in Washington D.C. and responsible for international trade and investment matters. For over twenty years, she represented GM business interests before the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government and many foreign governments. The majority of GM sales and production takes place outside the US, with significant operations in China, Korea, Brazil, Russia and other emerging markets. GM sells vehicles in 130 countries. Prior to joining GM, Dr. Zebroski was a Legislative Assistant for eight years in the U.S. House of Representatives. She concentrated on international trade, tax, energy, business and environment issues during her tenure with Congressman Clarence Miller of Ohio and Congressman Byron Dorgan of North Dakota. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in History from Ohio University and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. |
