Currently, I am a specialist on the demography of infertility. Along with my collaborator, Dr. Anjani Chandra, we have examined correlates of medical service use for infertility patients and projected future numbers of infertile women. I am currently studying infertility in Western and Eastern Europe. In addition, I am researching the infertility industry. I have conducted focus groups of women who have undergone or are undergoing infertility treatment as well as interviewing key players in the infertility industry (reproductive endocrinologists, mental health workers, insurance representatives, etc.).
