Bio
Deborah Stearns earned her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include the study of intimate relationships and the ways in which we perceive other people. She has conducted studies focusing on the role of power and gender in close relationships and on sexuality and sexual orientation.
Dr. Stearns teaches a broad range of
courses in psychology and women's studies,
including "Psychology of Gender. "
