Bio
Joseph Sitterson is Professor and Chair of the Department of English. He is an expert in British Romantic literature, literary theory, the epic and biblical interpretation.
Sitterson earned his Ph.D. and B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Selected publications Sitterson has written include: articles on Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats, psychoanalytic and literary theory, Ariosto and biblical interpretation. He also has written Romantic Poems, Poets, and Narratives (Kent State UP, 2000) and "Not in Heaven": Coherence and Complexity in Biblical Narrative (Indiana UP, 1991).
