Dr. Schwartz received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed post-doctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Schwartz is Professor of Oncology, Co-Leader of the Cancer Prevention and Control program and Co-Director of the Jess and Mildred Fisher Center for Familial Cancer Research at the Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Schwartz's research focuses on translational genomics, cancer genetic testing, cancer risk assessment and medical decision making.
