Bio

Dr. Rita Ailinger is Professor and Assistant Chair for Research. Dr. Ailinger holds a PhD in Anthropology from Catholic University of America, a M.S.in nursing from Boston University and a B.S. in nursing from Boston College. 50% of her activities is funded through her current NINR/NIH grant which is testing a Cultural Intervention for Latinos with TB infection. Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Ailinger was a tenured professor and Director of Nursing Research Development in the College of Nursing and Health Science at George Mason University. She has published articles related to her research with Latino immigrants.
