Over the past twenty years his work has evolved from photography to linear and interactive multimedia installations. His artistic concerns encompass multiple points of view and questions of personal and social identity. He has shown his work in America, in Europe, in Japan and Australia. Roberto has been awarded fellowships and grants including a Fulbright Fellowship and Woodstock Photography Grant among others. Roberto's work includes multimedia installations, single channel video pieces and digital images. His work can be considered a hybrid form of multimedia art in which he merges his background in Fine Arts and Electronic Arts.
