Bio
Patrícia I. Vieira is an Assistant Professor in Spanish and Portuguese. Her research focuses on Contemporary Portuguese, Brazilian and Lusophone African Literature and Film, Literature and Philosophy, Literary Theory and Lusophone Postcolonialism. She is currently finishing a project on vision and visuality in political fiction and film in Portugal and Brazil. Some of her recent publications include articles on postcolonial studies in Portugal and in Lusophone Africa, Brazilian poetry, Portuguese feminist writing, Portuguese national identity and Lusophone film.
