General profile
Location553 Hariri Building Bio Professor Jain received his PhD in 1984 from the University of Florida, started his academic career at the Wharton School and then moved to Tulane University in 1991. He came to Georgetown in 2000. He has published numerous articles (mostlly related to research in the stock market) in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Accounting Review, Journal of Business and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. His work has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Newsweek and several other newspapers. He has also spent a summer each as a visiting scholar at INSEAD, France and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Washington, D.C. He has also taught at ITESM, Mexico and CEIBS, China.
His forthcoming book, "Buffett Beyond Value" provides a detailed look at Warren Buffett's investing strategies and will be published in March 2010.
