Bio
Jeremy Mayer has been a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Government since fall 2001, where he completed his Ph.D. in Government in 1996.
He is the author of Running On Race: Racial Politics in Presidential Campaigns 1960-2000 (Random House, 2002), the brief textbook 9-11: The Giant Awakens (Wadsworth 2002), as well as several articles and book chapters on American politics.
Prior to Georgetown, he was an assistant professor at Kalamazoo College in Michigan from 1996-2001. He also has studied politics at Brown, Oxford, and the University of Michigan.
