Bio

Kimberly M. Davis, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor of Oncology and Psychology at who conducts research about the quality of life and symptom management of cancer patients and survivors. Dr. Davis received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. At Lombardi, Dr. Davis provides psychosocial services for patients, families and survivors throughout the continuum of cancer care. She also works with healthcare providers to assist them in the process of working with medically ill patients. Dr. Davis is currently developing a research program focused on changing physicians’ and patients’ behavior and responses to symptoms as a way to improve quality of life. With funding from the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute, her work spans different cancers at different stages of the disease.
