Bio

Kathryn Leonhardy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Health at Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies. Dr. Leonhardy came to Georgetown from the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland where she worked on issues related to nursing and midwifery services globally and to the migration of health personnel. She has lived and worked in a variety of developing and developed countries on health issues ranging from HIV to Hansen's Disease. She has been particularly committed to improving the health of underserved populations.
