Bio

Kathleen Delgado has been teaching Introductory French at Georgetown since Fall 2001. She also taught classes for the Dept. of English as a Foreign Language in 2001 and 2002. Before coming to GU, Prof. Delgado worked as a Program Analyst in the International Office of the Air Force Research Labs in Arlington, VA.

Her teaching experience includes courses in French, English and Japanese. She has taught French at the University of Hawaii, Chaminade University, the University of Texas at San Antonio and other institutions. While living in Texas, she was also an instructor of ESL at the Defense Language Institute and a teacher of Japanese at two public high schools.

Prof. Delgado received her M.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Hawaii in 1978 and minored in Japanese. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and has participated in PBK activities at Georgetown. Prior to receiving her degree, she was a stewardess for Pan American World Airways based in Los Angeles.
