J. Milburn Jessup, Professor of Oncology and Surgery, is a gastrointestinal cancer researcher and surgeon. He is also a member of the Angiogenesis, Invasion, Metastasis Program at the Lombardi Cancer Center. He works on advancing the understanding of the basic biology of colorectal cancer and developing treatments for patients with this, gastric, or pancreatic cancers.

Dr. Jessup is an expert on the role of scientific research in space, colorectal and pancreatic cancer, and the process of metastasis.
