I teach courses that explore the intersection of economics and national security/foreign policy. I am also the founder and principal owner of a boutique law and lobbying firm in Washington, DC, where we focus on international trade law and policy.

Prior to private practice, I had a 10-year career in the government as a presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as a senior staff member in the United States Senate.
