Dr. Oelrich is Director of the Strategic Security Project at the Federation of American Scientists, where he previously was Senior Research Associate. He was Scientific Advisor with the Advanced Systems and Concepts Office at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Research Staff Member with the Institute for Defense Analyses. Dr. Oelrich also served as Senior Analyst with the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. He has published several articles on the topic of technology and arms control verification in Physical Review and Physical Review Letters.
