Bio

Hongfang Liu is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Biomathematics (DBBB) of Georgetown University. She has been working in the field of Biomedical Informatics for 10 years. Her expertise in clinical informatics includes clinical information system, controlled medical vocabulary, and medical language processing. Her expertise in bioinformatics includes microarray data analsys, biomedical entity nomenclature, molecular biology database curation, ontology, and biological text mining.
