Prior to joining Georgetown University in 2007, Dr. Luta was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Statistical Sciences. Before that he worked as a statistician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, and as a faculty in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Timisoara, Romania.
