Rhonda Friedman is a Professor in the Department of Neurology where she serves as the Research and Academic Advisor. She is the Director of the Center for Aphasia Research and Rehabilitation (CARR) and the Cognitive Neuropsychology Laboratory at GUMC. She is a member of Center for Neural Injury and Recovery (CNIR), The Center for the Study of Sex Differences, and the Center for the Brain Basis of Cognition (CBBC). She is also a faculty member in the graduate program in biomedical sciences, the interdisciplinary program in neuroscience (IPN), and the program in cognitive science (ICOS). She is past- vice president of the university faculty senate and past- chair of the medical center caucus of the senate. She is a past president of Georgetown Women in Medicine (GWIM).
