Bio
I was born and grew up in Florence, Italy, where I earned my M.A. in History under the supervision of Giovanni Cherubini. At Warwick University in England, under the supervision of Humfrey Butters, I took my Ph.D in 2004. I then taught Renaissance History and Anthropology at Sarah Lawrence College in both Florence and New York. My field of study is Italian Renaissance History. My research has focused on the persecutions of minorities between 1200 and 1500. Now I am studying the different forms of political propaganda adopted by the main Italian Republics and Signorie between the Late Renaissance and the Early Modern times.
