Bio

Ladan Eshkevari is an Assistant Professor in the nationally ranked graduate Nurse Anesthesia Program in the School of Nursing & Health Studies, as well as a Clinical Instructor in Nursing. She is also a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and a certified acupuncturist. She is an expert in the area of anesthesia, pain management and alternative medicine. She is involved in the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Masters Program. She has also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine for over six years. Professor Eshkevari completed her PhD at Georgetown University's School of Medicine in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Her area of research is identifying physiologic markers for stress that are modulated by acupuncture.
