ResearchDr. Yearwood is a qualitative researcher who uses ethnographic and grounded theory methodology in her work. She completed an NINR funded study on the ‘Cultural meaning of parent-child communication behaviors’ and is currently working on a CMS funded study looking at EPSDT youth with mental health disorders who are transitioning to adult services. Future projects will include the impact of health literacy and heritage language maintenance on immigrant mental health. |
