Erik A. Devereux, Ph.D., is a strategic consultant and policy analyst with expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, program evaluation, and the logic of policy interventions. Recent clients include scientific societies, mission-oriented nonprofits and universities. In addition to being a principal consultant at Devereux Analytical Consulting, Erik is a senior consultant with Social Science Consultants. He has a distinguished record of teaching public policy analysis at several universities. He is the founder and CEO of Policy Solutions Challenge USA, an annual competition in public policy analysis among teams of students from U.S. schools of public policy, public administration and public affairs that has featured topics such as reducing childhood obesity, improving employment outcomes for younger workers, ensuring the safety and availability of drinking water, and raising the college completion rate. Erik is the author of a new textbook in public policy analysis, "Methods of Policy Analysis: Creating, Deploying, and Assessing Theories of Change."
