Bio
Professor Eberhart teaches Advanced Corporate Finance to graduate students. In 1995 and 1999, he received the Georgetown MBA Distinguished Teaching Award. He has been an Associated Consultant with A.T. Kearney, Inc. and has served as a consultant for the Standard and Poor's Corporation, MCI Communications and many other firms. He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1989 and was a visiting professor at the New York University Stern School of Business during 1993-94.
Professor Eberhart has published dozens of articles covering a wide range of topics such as market efficiency, bankruptcy and financial distress, equity valuation, option valuation in corporate finance, and the valuation of corporate research and development. His work has been published in such top tier journals as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Accounting Research. He has also published in other highly respected journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and the Journal of Portfolio Mangement.
