Bio

Elizabeth Biley Andrion is Deputy Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis at the Federal Communications Commission. She has also served there as the Acting Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning, Acting Deputy Chief of the Media Bureau, and Acting Legal Advisor to Chairman Kevin Martin.

Before joining the FCC, she had been a Vice President of Legal Affairs for Fox Television Stations, a regulatory attorney representing telecom and energy clients before the California Public Utilities Commission, a Director of Business Development at Accenture, and the founder and CEO of a media company which she launched for a group of venture capitalists.

She has taught at Georgetown University, UCLA, and American University. She received a law degree from UC Berkeley, a master's degree from USC's Annenberg School for Communication, and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Rhetoric from UC Berkeley.
