Dr. Wang's research interests include the following: physiology of the microcirculation: endothelial function in resistance vessels; alterations of resistance vessel function in hypertension. She has applied to study:
a) Mechanisims of the effect of oxidative stress on arteriole and systemic resistance vessels
b) Mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction of resistance vessels in patients with polycistic kidney disease, hypertension or HIV/AIDS.
