Bio

Professor Dugan specializes in the area of strategic management, teaching courses that address competition; and business and corporate strategy. She has been particularly active in the McDonough School of Business' Global Residencies, taking groups of MBAs to Brazil and China. Professor Dugan’s consulting background covers 25 years of international practice for both private enterprise and public sector institutions. Her work with international funding agencies, such as the World Bank, has addressed long-range strategies for industries and state-owned enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia. Her work in competitive strategy for Fortune 500 companies has spanned a wide variety of industries, most recently financial services.
