My research and teaching focus on the literature of the Renaissance, with a special focus on the works of John Milton. I am currently working on a second book project, Cyberformalism, which explores how digital archives like Google Books, EEBO, and ECCO change our understanding of literary form, allowing us to trace the history and evolution of local forms in ways that were previously impracticable.
