Bio
David Konisky joined the Georgetown Public Policy Institute in 2010. David’s research focuses on American politics and public policy, with particular emphasis on regulation, environmental politics and policy, state politics, and public opinion. His research has been published in various journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, the Journal of Politics, the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Opinion Quarterly, and State Politics and Policy Quarterly. He is also co-author of the book: Superfund’s Future: What Will it Cost? (RFF Press). David is currently working on projects examining state regulatory enforcement of federal pollution control laws, environmental equity in government activities, and public attitudes toward energy and environmental issues.
Prior to coming to Georgetown, David was on the faculty of the Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. He also previously was a Research Associate at Resources for the Future.
