Bio

James R Dalkin is a lecturer in accounting and finance and co-creator of the Masters of Professional Studies in Real Estate program at Georgetown University. In addition, Mr. Dalkin has traveled the country delivering educational programs addressing the elements of fraud and forensic accounting principles. Mr. Dalkin’s current focus is on promoting financial literacy and governance. He has also published in the Journal of Professional Services Marketing.

Mr. Dalkin has developed entrepreneurial ventures including a real estate investment company. He also is a certified public accountant and has consulted with companies ranging from bio-tech to large governmental agencies.

Mr. Dalkin has received recognition for his teaching in The Hoya, Georgetown University’s student newspaper. He serves on the Board of Directors for several organizations including the Capital Markets Research Center at Georgetown University. Prior to joining the faculty of the McDonough School, Mr. Dalkin held a faculty position at the University of Arizona where he taught entrepreneurship. He has also taught in China at the IDP program.
