Phone202-687-6126 Fax202-687-5712 BioDr. Breiner-Sanders is Associate Professor of Spanish and Hispanic Studies in the School of Foreign Service and the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, Georgetown University. She teaches Hispanic film, high-level language courses, and seminars on violence and human rights in Latin America. An ACTFL-certified oral proficiency tester and master trainer, Professor Breiner-Sanders has conducted numerous workshops throughout the country and internationally on proficiency testing and proficiency-oriented instructional design. She is also a certified tester and trainer for the government (DLI). In addition to teaching since 1990 in the summer program at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT, Dr. Breiner-Sanders also served as the Director of the Spanish School at Middlebury College for the period 1999-2001.
