Tim Beach studies soils, erosion, agriculture, conservation, environmental change, geomorphology, and geoarchaeology in Central America (Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico), Turkey, and the United States. The focus of this research has been human impacts on the environment, especially soils, and the development of conservation in ancient and modern times.
