Bio
Brian Kritz is a Senior Rule of Law Advisor/Democracy Fellow in the Office of Democracy and Governance at USAID. He is also a Senior Fellow in the Institute for International Law, Science, and Global Security at Georgetown University. He teaches courses in the rule of law and conflict resolution, international law, and mass atrocity law for the Georgetown M.A. Program in Conflict Resolution, the Institute for International Law, Global Security, and Technology, and the Department of Government. Previously, he was a legal advisor to the Prosecutor General’s Office for the Republic of Rwanda, and a criminal prosecutor in the State of California. He received his J.D. from The Georgetown University Law School and his B.S. in Foreign Service from The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
