Bio
Dr. Marolda served for many years as the U.S. Navy's Senior Historian a the Naval History and Heritage Command in Washington, D.C. He earned an MA at Georgetown in European Diplomatic History and Ph.D at George Washington University in U.S. History. He has authored, coauthored, or edited 11 books on the history of the U.S. Navy with a focus on the Cold War in the Far East. His dissertation treated the U.S. Navy and the Chinese Civil War. He is a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He has presented numerous lectures in the U.S. and overseas.
