Honorary Degree Ceremony
J. Willard Marriott Jr., chair and CEO of Marriott International Inc.

Georgetown University bestowed an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letter, honoris causa, upon J. Willard Marriott, Jr., chair and CEO of Marriott International, Inc. The degree celebrates his life of service and embodiment of the university's ideals.

The event was held in Gaston Hall and was sponsored by the Office of the President.
