Hoyas Return to Hilltop for Homecoming
Georgetown celebrated Homecoming Sept. 24-27 with four days of Hilltop activities and traditions. Though the weather in Washington didn’t cooperate for part of the weekend, rainstorms couldn’t keep thousands of Georgetown alumni and students from the celebration.

Homecoming highlights included the football game against the Howard University Bison, who beat the Hoyas 14-11; a tailgate party with music from an ’80s tribute band; the Mr. Georgetown pageant; and numerous academic panels for alumni.

The weekend also saw the first flag football match up between the College Democrats and College Republicans. The GOP elephants stampeded over the donkeys in this battle of the Hilltop.
