Jane Goodall to Discuss New Book at Georgetown University

WHAT:

Primatologist, conservationist and humanitarian Dr. Jane Goodall, renowned for the nearly 50-year study of chimpanzee social and family interactions she pioneered in Gombe, Tanzania, will give a special keynote lecture at Georgetown University. She will share stories from her new book, Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species are Being Rescued from the Brink, named by Amazon.com as one of the “best books of the year.” She will also discuss the Jane Goodall Institute’s work, including Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, a global and humanitarian youth program for young people from pre-school through college.
