Keynote Address by Michael Wesch

Michael Wesch is an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Kansas State University and an expert on new media and technology. His address marked the close of the Teaching, Learning and Innovation Summer Institute 2009 at Georgetown University. In his address, he explores the effects of new media on society and culture. He focuses specifically on the role that new media plays in teaching and learning.

TSILI 2009 is sponsored by the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship at Georgetown University and seeks to bring together new collaborations and fresh perspectives on the challenges of teaching.
